“How does the music business work?”

That (not very small) question made our founder pack her bags and move from Argentina to the UK to find out. Overwhelmed with the amount of information and people within the music industry, she was able to start navigating the industry by reading every music related book she could find, networking and asking a lot of questions. Mentoring from music business experts was essential to find the niche where she is today. Starting her path in music publishing, she was able to meet a lot of fantastic music creators that introduced her to the world of Sync. Merging her two favorite things (music + films), she created Basalt Sync to help creators get opportinities to showcase their music in media. Basalt Sync is a small company with big dreams. We want to champion independent and emerging artists by facilitating more sync opportinities.
